Drive Out documents the relationship between man and urbanisation, in the eastern hinterland of Milan, through food.
We are what we reject
Food waste contributes about 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. When you lose food, you also lose all the resources that went into creating that food. Agriculture is responsible for 70% of global water use, so the loss of food also means the loss of water resources.
Globally, 33% of food ends up wasted. What is the real cost of food?
